How We Teach
Taft Elementary is a PreK - 6th Grade team-based school. Grades PreK - 2nd Grade are self-contained classrooms, and grades 3rd - 6th are departmentalized. All teachers work collaboratively to ensure a warm, welcoming and rigorous learning environment for all students.

Quality Measures
A high quality core curriculum for English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, research-based instructional strategies, and school-wide positive behavior supports are provided for all students. Universal screening data is collected using iReady Benchmarks, Acadience Benchmarks, and Developmental Spelling Assessment
