Friendship Reading Center |
Christ Hospital School of Nursing |
Anthony Muņoz Clinic |
| The Friendship Reading Center is a non-profit organization in the Mt. Auburn community. Taft Elementary students attend the off-campus site after school daily for tutoring and literacy programming. Additionally, FRC hosted monthly Family Literacy Nights at Taft. | Taft Elementary works with Christ Hospital School of Nursing in an expanding capacity. In 2002-2003, they were an integral part of our Saturday Tutoring Program. Volunteers from the CHSN tutored targeted students every Saturday from January through March. This year, that program will expand to begin in October, and will include many more tutors from the community, still including CHSN. Additionally, our students perform for CHSN and special holiday activities occur between the school and the CHSN. | We are proud of our ongoing relationship with this in-house clinic. Expansion efforts have included the addition of NORCEN Behavioral Health Systems and St. Aloysius, as well as expanded services to include a part-time physician, and psychiatric services. An expanded health referrals system is also a trademark of this collaboration. |
